This is a project that I took on at my place of employment. Process Engineering wanted a solution mixed at certain rpm for certain times. I contacted the maintenance man that fabricates a lot of our projects. He fabricated the machine frame. I also contacted the machinist at our facility to have some parts machined. When its build was completed I wired it with a Micrologix1000, PanelView300, 2-AB 160 vfd's, 2 inverter duty motors. I Programmed it to run automatically or manually. It has screens telling operator when to add ingredients and what stage of process it is currently in. Manual is password protected to make sure stages of process do not get skipped. I tested the programming thoroughly. The machinist hooked the mixers and couplings, that he made up, to the motors. It has been stirring 24/7 since. This project was a lot of fun to take on. I cannot give pictures of the machine but did put examples of the code.
